Home Solutions Infodesk AI Infodesk AI AI for regulatory research and action Search your intelligence sources, check the evidence, and move findings into a configured Workflow case, while you remain in control throughout, because Infodesk is human-first, AI-enhanced. Book a meeting See it in action Search, generative models, and workflow automation Search, generative models, and automation run across Infodesk products. Agent, summarization, search, tagging, and prioritization all work within your product settings and permissions. In regulated work, speed only helps if you can show where an answer came from and what happened next. Research answers with factual claims include citations to their sources, and your permissions and workflows decide what gets published, sent, or acted on. Intelligence. Activated.™ Infodesk is different because Infodesk connects intelligence to the decisions it informs. We call this intelligence activation: putting relevant updates in front of the people who assess them and decide what to do. Workflow can then record the tasks and decisions that follow. The signal Relevant updates from selected sources The context How an update relates to your products and markets The proof A record of the work your team completed Human first, AI empowered Infodesk’s AI has been developed according to four principles we have learned from teams who have made AI work in regulatory intelligence and quality assurance. Regulatory intelligence monitoring, filtering and triage is greatly aided by AI, and AI helps with speed and scale. However AI still needs human judgement. Unchecked outputs can include hallucinated citations and precedents. Someone accountable still has to confirm what it means for your business. Ultimately the whole end-end system needs governance, with owners, charters and governance forums, as for any GxP process. Start with the decision Define the decision each signal feeds before you choose the tool. Automatically make it traceable Record the source, rationale and reviewer for every AI call. People own interpretation Impact assessment and sign-off stay with accountable experts. Teach the AI your context Job aids, update categories and champion feedback shape what the AI sees. “The tool is only as good as the process governing it and the expertise of the person using it.” Barbara Bovy, Quality intelligence lead, UCB, RAPS Regulatory Intelligence Conference 2026 AI designed for you AI shaped by your workflows Infodesk has worked alongside regulatory intelligence, quality assurance, and market intelligence teams since 1999. Over the past few years, we’ve also seen how those teams use AI in their daily work: where it helps, and where it falls short. That experience shapes what we build: AI inside the work your team already does in Infodesk. From source to decision Generative models and human editors help at different steps, depending on your chosen setup. Here’s how an update moves from source to decision: Intelligence surveillance Infodesk brings health authority updates, premium database insights, internal content, and 64,000 News Library sources into selected feeds and search. Classification prompts and Agent help your team assess what you can access, and editors can add context before publication. Context, curation, and triage Context tells you whether an update matters to you. Prompts can qualify and summarize material against your taxonomy, and editors can review items before they’re published. Inbox rules and alerts route selected updates to subscribers. Action Send a finding to a Workflow case, where a template assigns tasks and records decisions. Integrations and approval steps depend on your chosen setup. Intelligence with a human owner The value of Infodesk is an update is only useful once someone has assessed it and acted on it. Infodesk AI helps in three ways: Faster Feeds and saved searches bring relevant updates to you, so nobody has to check each source by hand. Aligned Strategy, risk, operations, R&D, commercial, and product teams can share selected sources and findings. Confident AI summarizes and compares. Research answers with factual claims include citations to their sources, so you can check a claim before you act on it. 64,000 News Library sources 27 Years working with regulatory teams in life sciences organizations 3 Agent research modes: Quick, Thinking, and Deep Research. Meet the Infodesk Agent Research that shows its work Infodesk Agent is a research assistant built into the Infodesk Platform. It searches enabled sources and reads relevant passages before drafting an answer. Each answer with factual claims includes citations to relevant posts, files, or web pages. Ask a question in plain language. Agent works across your curated Infodesk content and uploaded files, plus the open web when enabled. Open any source it returns to check a claim before you rely on it. Infodesk Agent in 3 modes Quick – fast answers to direct questions, with a few searches. Thinking – for questions that need several searches and comparisons. Agent shows its plan as a task list while it works. Deep Research – for complex questions. Agent may ask clarifying questions first. It then researches at length and writes a structured report with citations. What Agent can search Curated Infodesk content, with semantic and keyword search and date filtering, and passage-level retrieval inside long documents. A scope you choose: everything you can access, or a single inbox, workspace, Report, newsletter, or dashboard. Uploaded files, including images and charts inside documents. The open web and specific web pages, when enabled. Your company profile, so answers reflect your business. Traceable by design Answers with factual claims include citations to their sources, so you can open one and check the answer against it. Agent only searches content you have permission to see. Conversations that build on each other Agent saves each conversation with its sources and mode. You can ask follow-up questions or add files as you go. In Thinking and Deep Research, Agent keeps a scratchpad for the conversation, so later questions build on what it already found. Long sessions are compacted automatically to stay within the model’s limits. Agent may suggest follow-up questions. From answer to action Save an answer to your Infodesk workspace, email it to a colleague, copy it, or export it to Word. Shared and personal prompt libraries let your team reuse the prompts they rely on. Governance Agent searches enabled sources and drafts answers only within the user’s access and chosen scope. Publishing, sending, and Workflow case actions sit behind their own controls. Models vary by feature and deployment. Ask us for the data-processing terms that apply to your organization. AI embedded throughout Infodesk See Infodesk AI in action, here’s where AI shows up in each of the three steps of your workflow. Step 1: Intelligence surveillance Monitoring that’s systematic, precise, and adaptable, Infodesk combines AI with human expertise to turn high volumes of information into material your team can review and use. Infodesk Agent Ask Agent to research a topic or draft a briefing, and check the cited sources before you save or share it. AI filters Cut duplicates and off-topic items so relevant updates rise to the top. AI summaries Summarize updates with built-in templates matched to your team’s topics, terms, and taxonomy. AI categorization Human and AI categorization keeps your monitoring current as new topics, technologies, and vendors appear. AI saved searches and alerts Semantic search finds related content and keyword search finds exact matches. Save a search to rerun it later, or set an alert for when your topics come up. Step 2. Context, curation, and triage AI help with curation and triage. Agent and Co-Pilot search, compare, summarize, and draft from the material you select. Your editors and subject specialists can review content before it’s published. AI Search and Answer Ask questions in natural language. Semantic search can find related terms and concepts, and exact keyword search is there when you need it. Refine results with AI Co-Pilot, then share them with stakeholders or move them into deliverables. AI Co-Pilot Ask Co-Pilot about posts and uploaded files and get suggested next steps. Each follow-up question builds on earlier answers. AI summaries Turn long regulatory updates into short summaries with references back to the source. AI categorization Apply custom AI categories such as region, topic, or product area to filter content and focus on what’s relevant to your business. Where configured, you can see how the AI classified an item. AI-powered alerts Combine your topics with AI tagging and categorization to set alerts on the updates you want to follow. Change the trigger, frequency, and timing whenever you like, and subscribe to alerts and newsletters yourself. Grounded, governed, and yours to configure Sources you can check: Search and Agent retrieve from selected, permissioned content and can return source links or search results. Open the original material to check important claims. Publishing follows product permissions and configured review steps.Workflow templates can require approval before selected case steps proceed. Configured to your organization: Tailor taxonomies, permissions, company profile, prompt templates, curation rules, and saved searches where the product supports those settings. Find what matters: Combine keyword filters, your taxonomy, and available metadata to narrow the results. Deep Research: Investigate a question across selected Platform sources and produce a structured report with citations. Product controls: Role and portal permissions, selected-source scope, model settings, limits on Agent actions, and Workflow approvals are controlled in your settings. Step 3. Action From intelligence to outcome. The Platform and Inspection & Enforcement Intelligence can send selected findings into Workflow. A case template defines the tasks and approvals that follow. Infodesk Workflow solution Automation that keeps you in charge. Send a finding to Workflow and start a case from one of your templates. The template sets the tasks, roles, agent steps, and approvals. Agents can draft or analyze material at a step, including steps set to start automatically. AI Case Assistant in Workflow Get answers from the case file without rereading it. Ask what a source document requires, where a deadline comes from, how two attachments differ, or whether a colleague has completed their task. Answers come from that case’s own documents, so reviewers act quickly and new team members get up to speed. AI Monitoring Assistant in Workflow sk questions of a regulatory feed and review suggested next actions. Where configured, the assistant can prepare a case or saved search for review. AI Workflow Builder Turn the processes you already run into workflows. Upload a PDF or image of a process diagram, or describe it, and get a draft workflow with tasks, forms, agents, and decision nodes built out. Preview it, tell the assistant what to change, and test it before you go live. AI agents Hand off the legwork. Add an agent to a workflow step to gather sources, find related cases, check deadlines, build checklists, or assemble reports, then pass the results to your team for review. The case template sets when an agent starts and what it can do. It also sets the review steps. AI Document Generator For supported tasks, generate documents from the case details and earlier work, so assignees review and refine rather than write from scratch, and documents stay consistent from case to case. AI prompt and skill customization Make the AI work to your standards. Tailor responses to your organization’s terminology, review criteria, and formats, and build reusable skills for recurring jobs such as impact assessments. Admins can review and manage shared prompts and skills. Infodesk products use selected sources, permissions, and feature-specific controls. Research answers with factual claims include citations. Model providers and data terms depend on the contracted products and deployment. For subprocessor information, visit our Trust Site at trust.infodesk.com. How does Infodesk retrieve relevant content? Infodesk selects sources, saved queries, inbox criteria, and qualification prompts to focus retrieval on relevant material. Feed design comes first. Sources are selected for quality, and feeds are narrowed by taxonomy, source, topic, geography, time, saved-search logic, and inbox routing. Relevance is tuned at the inbox. Posts can be qualified, rejected, or left for review, and those decisions become feedback for automation. Admins can test candidate qualification prompts against previously qualified and rejected posts. The evaluation reports accuracy, precision, recall, and errors so teams can choose a suitable threshold. How are AI outputs validated? Validation is source-grounded. Agent and AI Search retrieve from selected, permissioned content using lexical and semantic search, passage retrieval, prompt templates, and relevance checks. Research answers with factual claims include citations to retrieved posts, files, or URLs. Users can open any cited source, and search records can show the matched sections or snippets. Is our data used to train AI for other customers? Provider data use and retention depend on the feature and contract. Ask Infodesk for the current terms that apply to your deployment. For customer-specific tuning, AI feedback, usage logs, qualification outcomes, and operational signals help admins and services teams adjust prompts, sources, and inbox automations for your organization. How is intelligence structured for AI? Out of the box, Infodesk supports entity extraction and labels, taxonomies, parent and child topic structures, topic-to-post relationships, benchmark profiles, source facets, geography and market fields, and company context for Agent. These structures support retrieval, filtering, routing, alerting, dashboards, and AI grounding. Source freshness, permissions, and extraction quality affect search and generated answers. Users can inspect available sources and review important claims. Which models does Infodesk use? Infodesk assigns models by feature and deployment. The Platform uses embedding models for semantic retrieval and generative models for research and drafts. Selected language-model routes are being upgraded to GPT-6 Luna and GPT-6 Sol. Ask Infodesk which models apply to your deployment. How can we customize Infodesk AI? Organizations can configure supported taxonomies, permissions, company profiles, prompt templates, curation rules, and saved searches. Available settings vary by product and role. Agent supports shared and personal prompts for supported research tasks. Admins govern shared prompts and templates. End users can save personal prompts where permitted. What sources can Agent use? Agent works across selected posts, saved searches, Reports, newsletters, uploaded files, trusted intelligence sources, the accessible portal corpus, and, when enabled, the open web. Research answers with factual claims include citations to posts, files, or web pages. Filters include fields, versions, time, relevance, taxonomy, source, language, inbox, connection, and feed. Source rights, extraction quality, and user permissions determine how generative AI can use each source. How does Agent handle long or multi-turn research? Agent keeps context across a conversation, so each question can build on the last. Users can ask follow-up questions, change scope, upload files, and move between broad research and selected evidence. Session history: Conversations persist with messages, source context, mode, and token usage. Thinking and Deep Research modes keep a working scratchpad per conversation, so follow-ups build on earlier research. Context limits: Token budgets, max-return-token settings, embedding-based chunk selection, truncation, and stop logic manage context. Long sessions are compacted automatically to stay within the model’s limits. Scope of memory: Context is strongest inside the active conversation, portal, source scope, permissions, company profile, taxonomy, prompt template, and feature. Agent does not remember every action across sessions and Workflow cases without explicit context. Where does Co-Pilot work, and what guidance can it give? In-feature Co-Pilot brings the same AI into posts, newsletters, Reports, and review flows. Agent and Co-Pilot provide summaries, comparisons, draft briefings, translation, weak-signal review, implications, and source-backed “so what?” synthesis. For “what now?” guidance, they suggest next questions, sources to check, evidence gaps, and ways to turn findings into a newsletter, Report, dashboard, alert, or Workflow case. Recommendations are grounded in evidence: source cards, citations, related questions, adjacent topics, missing sources, time windows, companies, markets, geographies, and filters. How autonomous are the AI agents? Agent can search enabled sources during a request. Workflow agents can run at configured case steps, including automatic starts. Product permissions and case settings control the actions available to each agent. What guardrails are in place, and who configures them? Guardrails include an AI agreement, role and portal permissions, restricted-content filtering, selected-source scope, prompt templates, token budgets, limits on agent actions, Workflow controls, audit logs, and human review. We configure system instructions to guide model responses toward legal, ethical, and business-appropriate use. Role Configures Infodesk and customer admins AI settings, templates, automations, and Workflow agents Power users Saved searches, deliverables, and approved prompts End users Agent, Co-Pilot, and saved prompts, where permitted Can we use Infodesk with desktop AI assistants? Yes. Users can access Agent on the web or through the Teams Assistant. We can also provide plugins and Model Context Protocol (MCP) connections for desktop AI assistants. Customer integrations depend on the product, deployment, and permissions. We also design Infodesk interfaces so desktop assistants can use them through computer controls.
