InfoDesk expands its leadership team with seasoned technology expert to deepen its security and compliance capabilities.
InfoDesk has today announced the expansion of its senior leadership team with the addition of Gregory Mortensen, who will be assuming the role of Chief Information Officer. Mortensen brings extensive technology leadership experience having worked in information security and data analytics for over 30 years.
In his capacity as Chief Information Officer, Gregory will play a pivotal role in driving the long-term direction of security, privacy and compliance at InfoDesk. Mortensen joins InfoDesk from Bishop Fox, the largest private professional services firm focused on offensive security testing, where he was Principal Data Scientist. Prior to joining Bishop Fox, Mortensen held various senior positions at organizations including Dun & Bradstreet and Rail Europe. Additionally, Mortensen served on a subcommittee of the President’s National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee, specifically focused on Internet and Communications Resilience where he made recommendations on botnet defense.
“We are thrilled to welcome Gregory to our senior leadership team,” said Stites, CEO InfoDesk. “Gregory brings extensive knowledge of data architecture, security and compliance which will ensure that we continue to exceed our client’s needs and expectations as a mission-critical, data service provider.”
“Security and Compliance remain top initiatives for every digitally-driven organization and this is not set to change any time soon. I am particularly excited to have the opportunity to work alongside InfoDesk’s clients, many of whom are responsible for the data infrastructures at some of the world’s leading organizations and government agencies,” said Mortensen.
