InfoDesk marketing organization actively sells and promotes publisher branded news and information products to the growing number of content buyers and that rely on the InfoDesk solution to receive and manage information and to other qualified prospects. InfoDesk focuses its information marketing efforts on five vertical markets:
- Print and electronic media;
- Financial services;
- Health care, pharmaceutical and life sciences;
- Entertainment; and
- Federal and state government.
Publishers choose the marketing option that best meets their needs, either direct sales or lead generation. Under the direct sales options InfoDesk contracts with, bills, collects from and delivers content to subscribers and makes monthly royalty payments to the publisher. Under the lead generation option InfoDesk refers qualified leads to the publisher, which then completes sales directly with prospects and pays InfoDesk a referral fee. Under either option, compensation to InfoDesk is 100% performance based and contingent upon new revenue being created for the publisher. Publishers can also participate in InfoDesk's sales building e-marketing programs including: permission marketing programs, the InfoDesk Preview Channel, and InfoDesk's online content catalog.
