InfoClient reduces information delivery and management costs by consolidating delivery of information from multiple sources onto a single easy-to-manage system. It eliminates the need for expensive, information-provider-specific, delivery technologies including leased lines, private networks and satellite downlinks along with associated specialized equipment and related maintenance and management. It provides plug and play content compatibility by delivering all content in a unified XML format, thereby eliminating the need for expensive content integration. Information Filtering
InfoClient enables the output of fine-grained information filters ("Profiles") to be published to select Web pages. Profiles filter headline, text, captions and meta-data of information using Boolean expressions.
Full Support for Multimedia and Multiple page Description Languages
InfoClient is the only Internet compatible information delivery solution that provides full support for multimedia including photographs, audio files, video files and other binary file types. It supports multiple page description languages including HTML, SHTML, ASP PHP, XML (NewsML, NITF) and JSP formats.
Output Options
InfoClient provides four output options:

- Output Information to a file system

Bundled ASP Templates: A wide range of Active Server Page (ASP) templates for use with Microsoft's Internet Information Server (IIS) are bundled with InfoClient. InfoLoader
InfoLoader is a RDMS database loader compatible with Oracle, MySQL, Sybase and other popular database applications. InfoLoader automatically inserts real-time information, including meta-data, into a pre-defined table accessible to your application.
InfoPublisher
InfoPublisher enhances the Web publishing capabilities of InfoClient and PageCreator. It enhances editorial control and provides authoring and editing tools for internal and external information.
Enhanced Editorial Control
InfoPublisher enables manual selection stories to be included in local content channels, which can then published to select Web pages using include tags.
Timers and Position Settings
InfoPublisher enables control of the position and duration of stories in list views.
Authoring & Editing
InfoPublisher enables you to author, edit and preview information for Web publication. Editable fields include media type, channel, headline, IPTC instruction field, byline, body, headline 2, extended headline and distributor. You can add meta-data to information and create links to other information and to media files. You can search for information by media type, channel headline, body, file name, date and time and can save searches for later use.
